Experience
As a parent, a teacher, and a coach, I believe I have plenty to offer students. In 2001, I began instructing night classes at a local business school in accounting, computer software, and business. For over 14 years, I have been teaching computer science at a Pittsburgh middle school. I also have experience working as a coach with elementary school children. These experiences have not only allowed me to work with people of all ages from different backgrounds, but also forced me to learn more about each subject that is being taught within my schools. Each year presents its own set of challenges for me to tackle, and I work efficiently to make sure my students and I overcome each obstacle. I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Master of Arts in Education. I have been certified to teach K-12 through the state of Pennsylvania. I am available to tutor in mathematics, accounting, study skills, science, public speaking, and SAT prep.Outside of the classroom, I am involved in many hobbies. I enjoy making films, watching movies, and working with computers. I also am a fan of many sports and engage in swimming, bowling, and soccer.
