Experience

I like to tutor because throughout my own academic career, I have always found enjoyment and fulfillment in helping others with course content and preparing for exams. Helping others to get through courses is how some of my closest friendships have been formed. Also, I feel that tutoring is an appropriate and symbolic way of making extra money to pay off student loans. It's another way of using the knowledge in acquired in school to help pay for it. Regarding the relevant courses I have taken to qualify me for tutoring; My mechanical engineering degree along with my MBA have given me a very broad foundation of knowledge, so I feel I can help students in a lot of different areas. However, Math subjects would probably be my strongest due to the intensive quantitative curriculum that that is involved in Engineering school. I have also had to prepare for the SAT, ACT and GMAT, so I have a good background in standardized tests (forgive me for not remembering or saving my scores!)

I am a 30 year old husband and father based in the Pittsburgh area is who looking for fulfilling side-work to helping others and help my family pay off student loans. I am a Vice President of Business Development at a contract manufacturing and supply chain management company in Pittsburgh who specialize in the production of industrial metal parts. Through this role, I am heavily involved in the Renewable Energy industry; specially solar energy. In my free time I love to play guitar, run, hike and do household projects.
